We are happy to deliver yet another season update to you guys. This time, it’s about crafting.
We just added another dimension to our already sophisticated crafting system.
We know it’s already a challenge but don’t worry. We’ll guide you through it. And you will see that this update actually makes crafting a bit easier.
Why would you want to craft ingredients out of other ingredients?
In Season IV, ingredients come in tiers. The higher is the tier, the rarer is the ingredient. For example, you might have hundreds of tier 1 pine and struggle to get enough of tier 2 oak to use in more advanced recipes.
To make obtaining high tier ingredients easier, we introduced a new set of recipes. These recipes allow you to exchange lower-tier ingredients for higher-tier ones.
Yes! Endlessly opening lootboxes is no longer the only way to get your share of rare ingredients.
We added crafting recipes for tier 2 and tier 3 crafting ingredients. You will need these ingredients to create more advanced gear of the season.
For example, to craft an entire Stillsuit set, you will need 77 tier 2 ingredients.
Getting them from lootboxes would be a big challenge. But now you have an alternative — craft tier 2 ingredients from tier 1 ones.
You can find ingredient recipes in the forge’s crafting section here:
Using these recipes, you can exchange common ingredients for rarer ones.
For example, you can get oak by combining pine and copper.
