Grýlla
A mythical creature, living in the mountains. Some say she brings with her the snow, that covers the land. Some, frighten their kids with the tales of a witch with 40 tails, that pierce through the gut of naughty children begging for meat during lent. She has had two husbands and now lives with her third one. She is known for raising thirteen healthy lads who come to the villages at night and concoct all sorts of mischief. Slamming doors, stealing things, and cleaning out the villager's supplies.
